Terms of Service
Effective October 13, 2026
1. What CARDSLAP is
CARDSLAP is a marketplace where people buy and sell sports trading cards. We provide the venue, the tools (scanning, pricing data, listings, messaging, checkout, payouts) and dispute review. We are not a party to the sale between a buyer and a seller unless these terms say otherwise. The marketplace is operated by DropTheWorld, LLC dba BG Cornhole (“CARDSLAP”, “we”).
2. Who can use it
You must be 18 or older, in the United States, and able to form a binding contract. One account per person. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
3. Selling
Sellers must verify identity through Stripe before listing. You must own the card you list, describe it accurately, label reprints and customs as such, and ship within 3 business days of payment with a tracking number. Orders without tracking after 5 business days are cancelled and refunded, and that counts against your shop statistics. You set item prices and shipping. The fee is 6% of the item price plus $0.30 per order; we may change fees with 30 days’ notice on the Fees page.
4. Payments and payouts
Payments are processed by Stripe. We hold buyer payments until the card is delivered. Your share (items plus shipping minus our fee) is transferred to your Stripe account 3 days after the carrier’s delivery scan, 14 days after shipping if there is no scan, or when the buyer confirms receipt, whichever comes first. An open dispute pauses the hold. Sales tax is calculated and remitted by CARDSLAP where we are required to.
5. Buying
Buyers pay the listed price plus the seller’s shipping and applicable tax. No buyer fee. Offers are binding for 48 hours; an accepted offer must be paid within 24 hours. You agree to confirm receipt promptly and to open any dispute within 3 days of delivery.
6. Disputes
If a card is not as described, damaged, or never arrives, open a dispute from the order page. The seller has 48 hours to respond. We review both sides and decide: release to the seller, full refund, or partial refund. Not-as-described returns must be shipped back with tracking before a refund is issued. Our decision is final within the marketplace; it does not limit rights you have under law.
7. Breaks
Breaks are group openings of sealed product run by breakers we approve by hand. A spot is a purchase of every card from the team or teams assigned to that spot (Pick Your Team and Random Team) or of the whole product (Personal); it is not a raffle, razz or lottery, and no spot is a chance at a single prize. Random Team spots are allocated by a published randomizer: the breaker’s seed is committed to by its SHA-256 hash before any spot sells and revealed when the board locks, and the allocation can be independently recomputed. Spots are charged at purchase. If a break does not fill by its deadline, or is cancelled before it goes live, every spot is refunded in full. Once a break goes live, spots are not refundable except as provided under Disputes. The breaker ships each buyer’s pulls in one package with tracking after the break ends; a buyer with no pulls receives no cards and is refunded any shipping fee. Random Team breaks are not available for shipping addresses in states we have excluded; such purchases are refunded. Breakers are sellers for the purposes of these terms, including fees, payouts, disputes and prohibited conduct. You must be 18 or older to buy a spot.
8. Prohibited conduct
No counterfeit, altered, trimmed or recolored cards; no unlabeled reprints; no shill bidding or fake offers; no moving a deal off-platform; no harassment; no scraping or automated access. See the Prohibited Items page. Violations result in removal and may result in a permanent ban.
9. Content and data
You own your photos and text and grant us a license to display them to operate the marketplace. Scan results, pricing data and listing metadata we generate belong to CARDSLAP. We may use anonymized sales data to show fair values.
10. Disclaimers and liability
The marketplace is provided “as is”. Scan results and fair-value estimates are informational and can be wrong; the seller is responsible for the accuracy of a listing. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability to you for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
11. Changes and contact
We may update these terms; material changes are posted here with a new effective date. Questions: support@cardslap.ai.
